Really depressed - 6dp5dt and my FRER was a BFN

I know you ladies are gonna say it's too early, but I gotta say I haven't found much info ANYWHERE of women getting positives past 6dp5dt and having healthy pregnancies.  The ones I've found either weren't testing before then or if they got them later it ended up being ectopic or chemical.  I keep trying to convince myself that I see something on this morning's test, but it's hopeless.  The only reason I have a TINY glimmer of hope is because of the urine I used.  I didn't get to bed til around 2am and I got up at 6:10 to pee.  In my half awake state, I went back and forth whether or not I should test then, and decided since I normally get up around 10, that's when I'd test.  Well, I woke up again at 8:00 to dh's alarm, and REALLY had to pee - couldn't get back to sleep so I said screw it and went for it.  So I'd already peed less than 2 hours before, but I hadn't drank much so who knows.  That's my only hope - I have found many accounts of women only getting a very faint line at 6dp5dt, so if it wasn't perfect conditions maybe that's why.  But if tomorrow's is negative I'm gonna crawl into a hole and never come out.  My beta isn't until Thursday.  

In know last time I got a BFN the morning of my beta and my beta was 9.0 and I didn't get a bfp on my FRER until 2 days later - but it ended up being chemical so that doesn't make me too hopeful if the same scenario happens.

I just found your post, am in the exact same position as you were.  Do you mind telling what your result was?  I'm thinking of stopping my meds, been down this road a few times and it helps to move on.

to everyone: Still BFN (I think) today - and I forced myself to hold my pee from 4am until 7am so it was 6 hours since I last peed and definitely qualified a "first morning urine"

if it fills like the tip of your nose it is hard and if you can fill it pretty easy it is low if you have to reach up far then it is high but everyone is different mine is high and hard that is how i know i was prego now i am 5 weeks but everyone's cervix is different but that is how you test to see if it is hard. high and low veries you need to test it the same time of day for the whole month to get to know what your high and low is hope that helps

Really you didn't get a BFP until 7 days after ? That makes me feel better I thought for sure I was preggo this time but my AF is due tommorrow and still not even a faint line . I feel like all the nausea I had last couple of days was in my head . Does anyone have any advise about checking the cervix I tried for the first time today it felt hard and low but I am not sure what low is and how hard or soft it is supposed to be?

when do you get your beta checked?

you still have a great chance of a BFP.  with my second pregnancy (although yes i MC'd but that was because i became pregnant way too fast after my first MC) i did not get a BFP until my AF was 7 days late.

Me too!!! I had - hpt on 10dp5dt and my beta was +!  DD is almost 23 months old... Don't count your -, until the beta :o)

YAY!  That made me feel better too!  I was going to say you still have hope and then I read everyone's posts.....awesome!  Wait a couple more days.  Don't test tomorrow.....

It IS too early. Not just from the info you read on the web, but from first hand info here. Think way back Amy, to Java Jess. She didn't even get a bfp on an hpt. AND----It was TWINS!!! I haven't seen her on here in so long, but I am sure the babies were both just fine. She was around 5 or 6 mos when she disappeared. There IS still plenty of room for hope. I read somewhere that it can take 5-6 days for implant after transfer. I asked Jess about it back then. She said it was true. I remember asking so many questions because I knew so little about IVF. I asked her "What do they do? Just hang out in there swimming around for 5 or 6 days?!? lol I guess they can!

I would like to reassure you as I was that way when I tested 7dp5dt. I cried for 2 days tested on day 9dp5dt and got a BFP. I will be 20 weeks on friday. Keep thinking positive.
