Need advice - it's probably just a cyst but have questions about ectopic pregnancy

OK, chances are it's just a cyst, but I thought I'd throw the question out here just to get other opinions.  I think either way I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow, but here is what's going on:

Almost two weeks ago I had 2 blastocysts transferred

Tuesday (a week ago) - I was 6dp5dt and had been having constant cramping all along since the transfer, but Tuesday it changed to constant pain from my right ovary.  I was a little worried, but it wasn't too sharp and I figured it was way too early to be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.

Wednesday - still getting very uncomfortable pain from ovary, and started spotting a little bit of brown blood (7dp5dt)

Thursday - spotting got heavier but was still brown, ovary pain was coming and going with af cramps (8dp5dt) - GOT A BFP on a FR digital gold!!!

Friday - beta came back a 2.5 and continued to spot brown

Saturday blood it was half brown half red.  Sunday blood was almost completely red, but never got heavy on either day.  In fact, I'd say it was light for the average person and EXTREMELY light for me.  I usually go through a SUPER PLUS tampon AND a full size pad every couple of hours for about two days straight.  But on Sat/Sun - each day I wore one pad all day long and one all night (normally I would've changed them more often but I really wanted to see how much was accumulating) - they weren't even full at any time.

Monday I virtually stopped bleeding (also odd) - no spotting, just plain stopped.  Ever since my ovary has felt extremely uncomfortable.  Sharp pain with bowel movements or when I move a certain way, which is why I'm 95% sure it's a cyst.  But now since I barely bled I am a little worried.

Could the loss of one embryo have triggered my period and the other still be stuck in my tube?  I know it sounds nuts, and it's probably a cyst but I wasn't sure if maybe someone else experienced something similar?

Well I called my dr and I'm going in first thing tomorrow for an u/s.  I don't know what's going on in there, but it doesn't seem right.  I'm still getting pains from the right side.  There is a constant discomfort pain, and then occassional bouts of level ten holy **** pain.  The super weird thing is today my breasts starting hurting - exactly the way they do after my trigger.  WTF??

Haven't you done another beta after the first one?your doctor should have followed up after two days.Go to your doctor and chek the hormone levels.I think the pain is mostly from a cyst. The ovaries tend to swallen after treatment. With an ectopic you have pain after 6 weeks when the embryo starts to grow.Go to your Re and explain the situation.

I think you should take another test... could have been implantation bleeding and the pain is from your corpus luteum (sp?)...  I have had ovary pain from copus luteum every time I got pg.  Maybe you beta was low, cause it was just too early.

When I had ectopic.. I had no pain until my tube ruptured at 8wks pg.

TEST TEST TEST :)  good luck..

I agree, you should call your doc and let them know.. they can do some more beta's just to make sure..  in the past when i have gotten pregnant (some of those had bleeding and beta's that weren't rising well ).. i also had pain on my one working ovary.. some of the times i had a cyst, the other times they said it was twinges from overstimulation of the ovary from being on the injectables.. and the ovary was just shrinking back to normal size, so thats why the discomfort, typically if your only 4 or so weeks pregnant you shouldn't really have pain from an ectopic already ( i think) but i'd still call them to make sure! good luck!

It sounds like a cyst - had one once and boy did it hurt to move! Call the doc and see what they say. If it is a cyst the pain should go away in a month or so - mine got better after about 2 weeks and then was gone 1-2 weeks later. The pain slowly got better everyday after that first bad week - so if it doesn't start feeling better by next week - DEFINATELY go to the doc. My sister in law had an ectopic (she said she had constant tear inducing pain) and lost her tube because she waited (she was pregnant and didn't know it was ectopic). So, best advice - call the doc and see what they think. Describe the pain to them and don't let them "poo poo" you - if you feel it is an ectopic, get checked!! HUGS!
