IUI-looking for a 2WW buddy

I had my first IUI this morning (Saturday) after getting an HCG (Pregnyl) shot on Thursday. I can not test until November 29, 2009. I am hopeful, but not sure what to expect. My husband has two varicoceles and I have PCOS. We just happened upon a viable follicle on Monday when I had my first consult with the RE. She was surprised too. My husband's sperm wash showed good motility so we shall see. So far since the shot I have had headaches and a little tired. Don't want to get fooled by the HCG symptoms as pregnancy, but I know it will be hard. I also have to take the Progesterone capsules vaginally starting Sunday night b/c my uterine lining was a little thinner than she wanted.

i have all the same symptoms as you except for the taste thing. My boobs have never hurt so bad in my whole life! SERIOUSLY .....they are killing me !!
I hope that we are all able to have BFP for the holidays....that would be the greatest gift in the world to all of us !

I took a HCG shot on the 12th....but if anyone uses 1st response look at it b4 u use it..U can already see both lines a little...If they knew what we go through they would make it were u cant see jack crap!!!
Also My doc doesnt want me to use meds in dec (if AF comes) bc of over stimulating my ovaries...So hes doing every other cycle with meds...I was heartbroken when the nurse told me. I dont want to wait....But whatever they went to school for the stuff not me!

Oh my goodness, LandM2009 - it sounds like you are pregnant!  Those symptoms sound promisinggggg!  Good luck!  I am 9 dpiui and don't have anything like that going on, but we'll see I guess.

Hi all!
I'm day 6 post IUI... taking progesterone suppositories and feeling some of the symptoms mentioned by some of you... these dratted 2 weeks don't seem to be moving!
Sticky vibes to everyone else and hoping to see lots of BFPs on this thread...

Just wondering how everyone is doing. We should be getting closer to the end of our TWW soon. I am dying to hear good news from everyone I hope! Keep me posted!

As for me, I am 11dpiui, 13 days since I took the HCG shot so I'm assuming it's out. I am taking Progesterone suppositories so I guess we will see. I am feeling tired, headaches, sore boobs (nipples to be exact-I feel like they are sunburned), boobs are larger too, bloating, and I still have that metallic taste in my mouth. I was drinking water yesterday and it did not taste right. I am not supposed to test according to the doctor until November 29th, but I see myself starting to test on Friday, November 27th. She said the Prog could cause a false positive, but I just really need to know what's going on in my body! I'm sure you can all relate.
