Touch of Fibromyalgia?

At my last doctors appointment this month, I finally cornered my doctor about a diagnosis. Do I have fibromyalgia or not?
She told me I may have a touch. A touch?

How do you get a touch?

Does anyone know what that means?

Thank You...Pat

Hi, There is no permanent nerver damage but, there is misfiring and irritation to our neurotransmitters.  This affects our muscles causing spasms when the nerves short curcuit.  Pain when the nerves get irritated and burning when areas or sections of nerves become inflammed.

I get "sciatica" but with my chiropractor and the right adjustment and heat treatments alternating with cold and certain stretching, ever so easy, it goes away.  I am talking down the leg pain from the buttocks, that feels better once I finally stand and anything inbetween is virtually impossible to accomplish.

Fibromyalgia is an all over pain condition.  A "touch of" this illness would be a mild case, all over your body.  It is usually prompted by a shock to the body such as an illness or emotional event or accident.  I will say this, I have had it where it is primarily in the upper part of my body but still the rest of my body never has a feeling of freedom from some sort of restriction, wether it be tension, slight pain, heat, tingling, stiffness, heaviness, always something.

I hope I have helped you.

Is "sci" sciatica?  There is no true nerve damage in fibro.

No;I don't think so.
I have been diagnosed with sci incomplete still walking but with great difficulty at times I have to use a cane. I stay fairly dizzy too. The "touch" of fibro; neuropathic nerve damage. There's more....but not for now.

You could have mild symptoms at present?  Have you been checked for the tenderpoints by a doctor who knows how to properly check them?
