This particular forum is not a doctor-monitored "expert" forum - it is a forum made up of fellow fibro sufferers who can share their experience and knowledge, however, most (if not all) of us do not have any medical expertise.

There are, however, several "expert" forums that are monitored by physicians who answer the questions posted on them.  You can find a listing of those forums if you click on "Forums" on the main page - it will bring up a listing of both the patient to patient forums such as this one one the left hand side of that page and then on the right hand side of that page listing is the listing of the expert forums.  You can then post a question for the doctor who monitors that forum by clicking on the name of the forum you want to post under and then clicking on Ask a question.

Even though the expert forums are monitored by physicians, it's also important to remember that they do this in addition ot their "regular" work, so it still may take a while for one to respond to your question.

If you have an immediate need for a doctor's help, you may want to place a call to your family doctor, or if it is a medical emergency, by all means go to the nearest ER.

Best of luck and happy holidays!

Hi Pooder, if you wrote to a doctor privately, you will have to wait for him/her to respond. It is the Holiday so you may need to wait.
You may want to try posting a new question in the forum associated to the problem you are having. Many knowledgable and experienced people reside here.

Best wishes
