I hope you make an appt. with a neurologist because it does seem like a lot of your symptoms may be caused by a neurological issue. I have fibromyalgia and a neurological ilness which causes the ringing in the ears/pain, nausea, and dizziness as well as intense headaches. You most certainly may be dealing with two separate issues.
Thanks for all the responses!!
Ree4tu I agree with you I to feel it is neurological, or at least I feel that is part of it, I have had a positive ana test, but all these symptoms did not come untill after I had a cervical injury and had to have a cervical fusion done, and then WOW I thought at first this was just a hard surgery to recover from but then the symptoms just never got any better and it seemed like more and more symptoms started to happen.
The dizziness, fatigue, muscle aches, nausea, and confusion, are terrible, and this constant ringing in my ears is driving me nuts!!
I have been trying to push myself to do more but then I just feel exhausted and weak, it takes my hours just to iron a few shirts, and my arms hurt so bad just brushing my daughter hair in the mornings. I will make myself get out and go to the store, If I get out of the house just for a little bit then mentaly I feel better, but if I am wallking around the store more than 25 or 35 mins, I start to get so weak I think I may not make it back to the car, I hope that never happens but I know it will someday if I can't get a better handle on it. I even tried to go to the amusement park with my family, since I had to miss my 5 year olds first 2 trips becaue of this fibro, so the 3rd trip I went and that was a mistake, within an hour I was miserable but I pushed myself by the third hour I was lying on a park bench, my husband took me back to the hotel it was about 2 pm and I didn't move till the next morning at about 10am I even ate mu dinner in bed.
Well sorry to go on and on, it's just too frustrating
When you can feel your heart beating through you chest it is palpitations, but palpitations don't necessarily indicate tachycardia (fast heart rate). I was in the ER recently for tachycardia which accompaned the palpitations. The heart monitor in the ER displayed 120 beats per minute. Good news is it wasn't a heart attack or anything serious. Sometimes I just get the palpitations and my heart rate feels fast, but it still within normal range (60-100 beats per minute), other times not. I would suggest to actually count the number of beats for an entire minute when you feel like your heart is racing (Maybe you have already tried this).
I believe a lot of these symptoms are a result of an overstimulated nervous system. There are theories that fibro may be neurological rather than a rheumatoid condition. I am on a natural supplement to calm the nervous system. I also have a prescription drug to take as needed to really calm me if my heart rate becomes abnormal.
I hope someday this illness will be figured out. It is frightening to experience such a range of symptoms. You never know what each day will bring.
Warmest Regards,
Ree4tu
