stomach upset ?

started 5 days ago with stomach uneasiness, abnormal but not loose motions, since last night nausea, dizziness in particular positions thru out the day & weakness

i went to the gastro specialist - he gave me ciproxin 500 to take 3 times daily for 5 days - pain, swelling adn dizziness all gone - he diagnosed it as amoebic infection in the large intestine .... and he added vita C effervesent tabs. today is my 6th day.... so far so good.

Hi it is possible that u have some type of allergy or sinus infection....this could cause  the symptoms u mention...do see ur dr.

The draining sinus causes the nausea and bowel issues.The position vertigo sounds like sinus to me...so try an ENT dr first or ur PCP.

Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter). I was on Zofran for the nausea but it didn't help me at all and so they put me on Nexium and that isn't helping at all. Keep me updated with the results.
