Gerd cause short sharp chest pain?

Hi there :o)

I have been dealing with GERD for years with months of feeling great and weeks of feeling horrible. I recently switched from Tecta to Prevacid and have never felt WORSE :o(  I was prescribed 30mg two times daily. My stomach feels bloated and nauseous, i have horrible gas, but the one thing freaking me out the most if I'm getting short sharp chest/stomach pains.  The leave as quickly as they come and sometimes gone before I realize it's happened. I have horrible anxiety about my heart and fear this is something heart related. The pains come and random times whether resting or walking etc. It happens a few times a day and scares the heck out of me. Any feedback would be incredibly appreciated.

As well, i've had every heart test imaginable and a clear ECHO in January 2012. I recently went to the ER, had tropinin etc checked, was on the monitor and had 2 x ECG and all was fine.

I have a  long history with heart problems, including several heart attacks and countless angina issues.  My heart and angina attacks have always been a feeling of pressure coupled with breathlessness, and last for awhile, never sharp, short pains.  I also had a problem with GERD until a surgical intervention, and GERD problems can often cause sharp, short intense pains.
Hope that helps.
