9 Year old boy illness.

Hello. Can anyone help me ? My nine year old son has been up all night vomiting every hour or so. He also has very loose bowels running to the toilet 5 or 6 times during the night. He is not running a temperature but is weak and shivering. He is unable to keep anything down and no all that comes up is yellow bile.
At what stage do I take him to hospital ?
Thank you in advance for any advise.

As long as he is having urine output you really have no need for alarm. If he is not having urine output then you need to take him to the hospital.  Dehydration is an issue to worry about.  You can have the doctor give you phenergen suppositories.  Those will help with nausea and keep him from throwing up so he can hold down fluid.  They will make him sleepy so he will sleep alot.  Hope this helps

understanding mom of three(these suppositories are a godsend.  They really do work.)

Im a dad myself and i know its scary whenever your child is sick.If he has not been sick more than a day or two its probably nothing. But as a parent i know i have taken my daughter to the doc just to make myself feel better.Whatever your gut tells you is what you should do.Always listen to that little voice inside its never wrong.Good luck...
