very frustrated

Hi,
I have several things going on and have not been able to get any solid conclusions from my doctor. I have severe upper abdominal pain that radiates up into my chest and that comes and goes several times a day, sometimes lasting 15 minutes to 2 hours. The pain is so bad that it is hard to breath and feels like deep stabing pain as well as an elephant standing on my chest at the same time. I also have elevated liver enzymes and have had for over 6 months. My skin is very dry and flaky(sometimes pealing almost like after a sunburn) and I have had acne, which is extremely unusual for me. I have times of vomiting(mainly when I have a pain attack) and diarrea at random times that seem to come out of no where.I  have a lymph node on the back of my neck that is hard and swollen and has been for months somedays it is painful. I had a hysterectomy about 3 years ago, Ihave had 3 c-cections and a D&C after a miscariage. I had very complicated pregnancies and had very elevated liver enzymes during one of my pregnancies 9 years ago. I had my gallbladder removed 4 months ago, which the doctors thought was the cause of my problems, however all of the symptoms got much worse after my surgery. They have done 2 HIDA scans(not sure if that how you spell it) the 1st showed my gallbladder functioning at only 5% but no stones, the second they did several weeks after they removed the gallbladder to check for leakage and proper healing...everything looked good. I had an ultrasound of my liver...everything looked good(except they said my liver sets higher than most peoples) and no fatty tissue like they expected. Than they did an upper endoscopy, i had mild inflamation in one small area and they found a small area of H-pilori(even though my breath test had come back negative) I was treated for 2 weeks for that but no improvement. They took biopsies of the stomach but everything came back fine. Now they are sending me to a GI specialist in 2 months. Any Suggestions....????

I would recommend NOT waiting 2 months to see the GI specialist - I would get in asap.  It could be a # of things, but only the specialist would know.  If you are in that much discomfort, waiting another 2 months is not right - I would try to get in asap.

I'd get blood tests for Celiac disease.  It can cause a wide range of symptoms, including skin, digestive, heartburn.
