Abdominal pain in teenager

My teenage daughter has been having right side lower quadrant pain  for over 7 months. She has had some vomiting  and it has interferred with her daily activites such as school and church. She has had bloodwork done,CT Scans with contrast, MRI, upper GI series, ultrasound, endoscopy and colonoscopy with irritations in terminal ilieum noted but no diagnosis yet, We have seen two GI specialist and all they have tried are meds ( several different ones) with minimal help with pain. They are suggesting "Functional abdominal pain" , which I really don't agree with. I know my child and the pain is real not mixed signals in her brain like they suggest. Any suggestions???

have they also checked out her uterus/ovaries. Kidneys and bladder. from the age of 15 on I had problems that sounds similar to your daughters. it started off slow and I would only get sick every once and awhile and have some pain but by the time I was 16 it was almost non stop. It definitely effected my life to the point that I dropped out of school for a year. I was vomiting and had constant stomach pain, on top of that I was having urinary incontinence (like a pregnant woman when I had to pee I HAD to pee). Because of these problems they started checking my bladder and kidneys and found nothing there and went on to check my uterus. They found a cyst the size of a soft ball attached to my ovary and all the way down to my uterus. I have IBS which normally isn't so bad but with the pressure of a cyst that size laying on my bowels and my bladder it had caused all of these symptoms. You would think that having MRI and X-Rays done of my bladder and kidneys they might see something like that but somehow they did not. It might be something worth checking out.

Has she had any sickness prior to the abdominal pain? (Mono??)  My son started off with abdominal pain, of course doctors wanted to blame it on anxiety when they couldn't figure it out.  He was originally diagnosed with functional abdominal pain, then he started having migraines as well. So they changed the diagnosis to abdominal migraines.  He then added more symptoms, dizzy, hot spells, heavy limbs,  and was finally correctly diagnosed with dysautonomia.(autonomic dysfunction aka postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome).

Does she have any other symptoms? if not be sure to make note if she does, they might seem unrelated but might not be.
