Acidophilus side effect

I am post menopausal and have not seen blood in 4 years.  I recently started taking probiotic acidophilus and notice vaginal AND rectal bleeding.  Can the acidophilus be causing the bleeding?

Thank you.  I have seen a GYN and am seeing a Gastroenterologist this week.  There will be further testing about my problem.  I appreciate your input!
