Rectal bleeding is never normal and you should seek medical advice.  For possible causes google "rectal bleeding" and click on to one of the many sites - the Medicinenet site is particularly informative.

If your doctor is unable to confirm positively that the cause is minor (such as anal fissure, haemorrhoids etc) I suggest that you ask for a colonoscopy.

It doesn't hurt to get it checked out but I get this occassionally it could be a anal fissure (which is a small tear) hemorroids (hemorrhoids), or even just using to rough of toilet paper, as long as it's not in your stool or in the toilet I wouldn't really worry about it to much

Recently had a BM and noticed that it was clear jelly like-kinda looks like mucous. What could this be.I have noticed that the color  has been changing to yellow and they are loose(not diahrrhea) and its feels like I am not evacuating completely. This mornings Bm was back to brown and it actually looks like worms attatched to it(unless its mucous.)
