Swelling

I had right shoulder surgery 6 years ago. About 4 days after the surgery I stopped taking pain meds and noticed I could not lay flat for more than 4 hours without my abdomen swelling up and aching. When I sit up it seems to clear out. I've had all kinds of tests and scans with no answers. I've also seen a variety of alternative health practitioners and no one knows what's going on. Anybody have any ideas?

It might be a good idea to try eliminating different foods from your diet to see if that helps.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I'm not constipated. I've had a blood test to check organs. I've had two Cat Scans and a Colonoscopy. I have gone to two different Gastroenterologist and they both said they've never seen this before and don't know what else to do. I have also tried several different meds with no change. I have also seen several alternative health practitioners with no change.
