I have a constant pain on my left side. I was wondering what that might be?

gallbladder is right side,,left could be a few things such as pancreas or bowel obstruction,,but i think you would be alot worse off if you had either of those1,,so dont worry.
check into colitis,or crohns and see if that sounds more like your problems

I have it also. Went for about 2 weeks last September then stopped.

Started back up the day after Christmas and is kicking right now.

I've had CT scans (negative), colonoscopy (negative), and ultra sound on my pancreas (negative) and gall bladder (positive for gall stones).

I'm having my gall bladder surgery on Tuesday.  One doctor said it should make me feel a lot better.

I, finally, talked to a few other people with the same symptoms and theirs was a bad gall bladder, too.

You could , also, be checked for diverticulitis. A CT scan would show that. That is treated with anti-biotics.
