Could you please provide me any info on if you got the treatment and where?
Plzz help me out.
Thanks, but I too, am well informed, and know quite a bit about B. hominis. The only treatment protocol which seems to cure approx. 82% of the people suffering the effects of this parasite is the one from the CDD in Sydney,Australia. I need to find a doctor, preferably in Southern CA. who will work with them.
Please no more posts about what B. hominis is, or isn't, and what works and what doesn't, just contact me if you know of a doctor I can see, who will work with the CDD. Thank you
Hi, blastocystis hominis is a microscopic parasite sometimes found in the stools of healthy people as well as in the stools of those who have diarrhea, abdominal pain or other gastrointestinal problems. Infection with blastocystis is called blastocystosis. There are no proven treatments for blastocystosis, and the infection usually clears up on its own. However, if signs and symptoms don't improve, medications can be tried. Potential medications for treating blastocystis infection include the antibiotic metronidazole (Flagyl), the combination medication sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim (Bactrim, Septra, others), and the antiprotozoal medications iodoquinol (Yodoxin) or nitazoxanide (Alinia). The Centre for Digestive Diseases in Sydney also recommends multiple drug regimens to treat blastocystis hominis. Regards.
