Steatohepatitis (steato = fat, hepatitis = liver inflammation) is one step further than fatty liver. I recommend you to have those tests which they intend to do.
There were probably liver enzymes which were elevated, and liver function is DECREASED. Many proteins, including antibodies are synthesized in the liver, and if this synthesis is impaired, your immunity is lower, so from here may be your sinusiitis - but this is only speculation. I wouldn't be concerned about sinusitis at this point.
Were you taking aspirin lately?
Thank you. I ended up in the hospital. I had elevated liver function and an elevated white blood cell count. So they think I had a liver infection. I still feel pretty offal and they want to do more tests. I forgot to mention that the gastroenteritis who did my ultrasound said i had "steatohepatitis". I had no idea sinusitis could be connected to my liver, but my liver function was elevated? They did give me antibiotics at the hospital.
PCOS and fatty liver goes together:

Nausea and pain on the right side is probably from the fatty liver.
This doesn't sound like something life-threatening, but you should go at least to your GP or if you have any doctor for students, to check your liver, and maybe to have a blood work done.
Chronic sinusitis can be treated with antibiotics. Sinusitis may be a consequence of lowered liver function.
