Gallbladder Liver Flush?

I have heard of a cleansing method call gallbladder flush.  Is this effective, and if so, how should it be performed.

This is not effective and should be ignored - completely!  I know what I speak.

I attempted things like this that would relieve the symptoms for a while but then things always returned.  I kept thinking it was because I 'obviously wasn't taking care of myself enough.'  Turns out I had a tumor on the inside wall.  No amount of flushing is going to cure that.  Also, no amount of flushing is going to figure out what was wrong.  In fact, it probably contributed to the problem by masking it through temporary relief.

The gallbladder is nothing to be taken lightly.  It can effect other organs of the body.

I'm lucky I'm okay today.  Had it progress to cancer (as it might well have) I'd be in real trouble.

Stick with the dr route.

Hmm, apple juice, huh.  Not sure if my problem is in the gallbladder or liver yet, I don't really have any pain, besides a sore back and a tightness in my chest occasionally, mostly from standing all day at work.  Besides my elevated bilirubin most of my complaints have been with nausea and my stomach feeling full.  But hey, I'll give it a try, its just apple juice!

I tried it, it doesn't seemed to be a cure for me, but I found one benefit.  Apple Juice!  It reduces the pain and fatigue I am feeling, the difference is night and day.  Now I drink that stuff every 2 hours until I get to see my surgeon and Gastroenterologist 3 weeks to a month from now...

Read about it online, something about drinking olive oil and lemon juice.  There's a video of a woman on youtube who tried it, she didn't seem to like it.

This sounds silly, if you ask me. I've never heard of this, before now. They say, you have to eat apples and it will soften your bile stones. Why then doctors don't recommend such an "easy, cheap and effective" treatment?
