Is this an emergency or can it wait to go to see my doctor? (liver disease/gallbladder attack)

I think I am having a gallbladder attack. I was diagnosed with liver disease over a year ago. For the past 4 days I have had upper back pain and it shoots through to the front under my ribcage. For the past 2 days I have been throwing up, dizzie and my sight has been weird and my mind is foggy, having a hard time typing and thinking......not sure what it goin on or if I need to go to er.....pain has been getting worse.....I am planning on going to the doctor when I get my tax check in but not sure if I should wait any longer!

I would get to the doctor sooner then later, if it is gallstones with your history of liver disease you dont not want any bile backing up and turning jaundice.  I would get to the ER, its almost better for them to see you when you are having an attack so the blood levels will show it...

my skin on my back is very itchy but the research I had done says it's just an attack, I am not yellow and no fever.

I don't think you should wait.  I think you should have someone take you to the ER now.  With your history of liver disease, the vomiting, dizziness and vision troubles, I think it's very important to get this checked out immediately.

DO NOT DRIVE YOURSELF!!!

I hope you feel better and please let us know what you find out!
