RUQ burning and fullness.

I have a burning feeling under my ribs on the right. It is worse on an empty stomach. I have been on meds for 3 days now to treat an ulcer. I feel a little better but when the meds wore off I was in worse pain than before. I also have a constant feeling of fullness under last right rib, it's sore to bend foward or even sit. Can an ulcer cause such feelings? Gallbladder? I also have a small ovarian cyst (2.0cm) on right.

My doctor decided it may be an ulcer due to the fact I am on high doses of NSAIDs for arthritis. I decided to return to the ER , even though they were convinced it was all from an ovarian cyst. I told them my symptoms again and asked if they could please do an abd US since I could not get one done untill mid Nov by my care provider. My gallbladder was septic and had a few stones, but was mainly enlarged and diseased. I was sent to surgery first thing the next day! Feeling much better now and so glad that I followed my GUT :)

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  How did the doctor determine you had an ulcer?  Yes this pain could be caused by the ulcer, but if it continues I would recommend consulting with a gastroenterologist to get it checked out.
