String/Silk in Stool

I know I should see a doctor, and I will be in a few weeks, but I thought I'd ask on here first for a little insight into my problem.

Almost 2 months ago, I noticed a string in my stool. It was pretty long, thin and flat. (imagine corn silk) There was a good amount of it. Not all connected in one long string, but several longer strings. I did nothing. Occasionally throughout the past 2 months, I've noticed it again in smaller amounts, not that often.

Today, I found another fairly long string, same description. On occasion, I don't have the most normal stools, sometimes almost being constipated, others the opposite. But no severe problems that interfere with my day.

I have other problems like strong fatigue, that could be attributed to a multitude of things like stress. So I'm not too worried about those symptoms. Any ideas?

i thought that. but a big symptom with that is being itchy in the area. i am not at all. which is strange.

It sounds to me like you might have worms.  The fatigue can also be attributeable to it as the worms deprive your body of the nutrients it needs.
