9? The ejection fraction of your gallbladder??? I had one done too and mine was 18%. Normal is anything above 35% at my facility. I bet your experiencing a lot of pain. I am at 18%. Pain, nausea, gas...you name it. I was told the same thing by my hepatologist and gastroenterologist until the pain went from ache to sharp and never ending nausea. You probably have sludge in there. I do. A CT or a sonogram won't pick that up.
If you're concerned about your kidneys, have your MD get a renal profile done. If there is an abnormality in your creatinine or BUN, it may signal kidney problems..I would suggest a urinalysis and culture as well.
Hope you feel better!

Thank you. I also had a gastric emytping study and my stomach was slow. I also have sever constipation and after a defogram my colon muscles register as "non functioning". Every test we do seems to have a negative result but I feel that everything is related to a few things not working. Even after all that I feel like my doctor thinks that I am a drama queen. He did the CT scan but I asked about blood work before the scan and he said levels in my pancrease were going to be high because of the gallbladder. Duh, then dont you think we need to take it out to fix that. It is so frustrating sometimes. What is a hepatologist? Who can do the renal profile? My GP or a nephrologist? I am pretty much done with my GI because of his attitude. Any help, thanks.
