Dumping syndrome or something else?

About 5 months ago I went to the doctor to figure out why what I thought was my liver was hurting so much...  After several blood tests and an ultrasound they discovered several gallstones 16mm, 13mm, and 11mm.. with the largest being lodged near the bile exit blocking it off.  I went ahead and had the gallbladder removed and for a while I was good except for some normal post op discomfort.

About 1-2 months after the operation I started having strange symptoms though, (maybe completely unrelated).  It started to feel as if I was having burning sensations on my neck and inner thigh.  I thought maybe infection, but my white blood cell count was normal.

Starting a couple months ago, while the neck/inner thigh ache has pretty much disappeared.  I find myself sweating a lot, especially if I'm sleeping.  I'll frequently wake up from nap and be soaked even though it's 72 degrees.  It doesn't seem to matter if I'm hot or cold I'm always clammy.  In addition nausea is near constant now..  No vomiting, but the urge to is there.

I've tried experimenting with different foods.. no/low carbs, no/low fat, no food at all...  But I can't figure out a trigger definitively.

This may not be related to the gallbladder surgery in the least but it seems strange the symptoms would have started so shortly after the surgery.. Does anyone have any idea's what could be causing it?  Could it be dumping syndrome, is that even possible after a laproscopic gallbladder removal?  Basically just tell me it's not cancer and I'll be happy.  Unfortunately I just don't have the money to go through the series of tests a definitive answer would entail.

It took probably 2-3 months before the sweating went away.  I awoke drenched  many nights.   I reasearched everywhere and could not find much.  Some people did say it might be from the anesthesia leaving your body.

The nausea stays for a while in some people as well.  Try to eat very very low fat.  No butter, redmeat, alcohol etc...

Yeah, no diarrhea here.  If anything I lean towards the too solid side of things.  I hope you're right and it's just a little infection that will go away.  About how long after the surgery was it that things got back to normal for you?

Dumping syndrome is when you have constant diarrheah after the surgery .  Do you have that ?  I know before and after my GB surgery I woke up many times drenched in sweat and never figured out why.  It eventually went away.  You possibly could have an infection somewhere in your ducts.
