i'm having sharp pains on the right side of my stomach underneath my rib cage

I'm 18 years old and i have been experiencing very sharp pains on the right side of my abdominal right underneath my rib cage. The pain only strikes me when i laugh, yell, breathe in deeply or lay down in a certain way. i am also lactose intolerant but i still eat dairy products. I know what gas feels like and this is not gas. I've taken antacids but that doesn't seem to help. I've had no other symptoms no other health issues just this one. The pain scares me I've never felt such a sharp piercing pain like this but yet it only hurts when i breathe deep even if i bend a certain way. Can someone please help me? What can this possibly be.

I had this problem....had you been heavily drinking/do you heavily drink? When I had this they diagnosed I had split my stomach lining (known in younger people for binge drinking!) If so it could well maybe be that and for that apart from medication to help it heal there isn't a lot they can really do......

Gallstones. Ultrasound is the first test.
Kidney/urether stones are also possible.
