liver mass

Does anyone know anything about a mass found on the liver during an ultrasound?  It was a 3.1 cm hypoechoic mass and neoplasm could not be ruled out.  This is what was written in the ultrasound report.  Any help would be appreciated.  I had the ultrasound due to pain/pressure under right rib. I am worried, please respond.  Thanks,   Tracy

I just found out today I have a 6cm mass on my lower left liver. Scheduling a CT scan soon. My symptoms have been severe diarrhea with a noted high Alkaline Phosphatase level of 320. I have had no pain, cramping or weight loss. Has anyone else had diarrhea noted with their mass?

I just got out of the hospital after being there for a week.  They told me that I have a mass built up on my liver.  At first they thought it was cancer of the liver.  Then after further testing, they said that part of my liver has stop working and has shrink.  They told me that I have cirrosis of the liver. I have to go to Saint Louis University Hospital for follow-up to decide what steps they want to take next.  But i was told that the liver canre-condition itself.
