Can pain from the appendix migrate to the shoulder area?

Sharpish .painwith each breath, located where appendixis and about halfway between right shoulder and neck, slightly behind the actual top of that area.  The deeper the breath, the more severe.  Also present between breaths, but only very slightly.  Much more severe, with a breath or not, when lying on thre right side.  Pain with abdominal palpation, but limited in scope to about 2 square inches.
