Can you explain whats wrong with me?

So ive been taking Junel Fe wich is a type of birth control and i accidently missed one day. For 5 days i stayed on track but yet i am still bleeding when i am not supposed to be. The periods are also weird they are black, gooey, and sticky. I fill up a panny liner per half day. I have pain in my right rib and it moved to around my belly button. I still have pain in my rib as well. I am worried and would like an answer to what might be happening to my body.

That happens when one miss Junel Fe for one day. Junel Fe usually take the body's bones and reduce the calcium. Using the reduction of calcium, Junel Fe then can make the baby's mess to be less (as babies are made from pouches and the bones). It's a dangerous and really effective drug. Stop the bleeding with ivory (plant) and ivory (mineral).

Here is the information given by the maker of Junel FE... "The possibility of ovulation occurring increases with each successive day that scheduled tablets are missed. While there is little likelihood of ovulation occurring if only one tablet is missed, the possibility of spotting or bleeding is increased. This is particularly likely to occur if two or more consecutive tablets are missed.

In the rare case of bleeding which resembles menstruation, the patient should be advised to discontinue medication and then begin taking tablets from a new tablet dispenser on the next Sunday or the first day (Day 1) depending on her regimen. Persistent bleeding which is not controlled by this method indicates the need for reexamination of the patient, at which time nonfunctional causes should be considered."

If you are a smoker then you at far greater risk of having complications, which is true with most oral contraceptives.  I highly advise that you contact the doctor that prescribed this to you as sound of possible and explain your side effects. the more information you provide the better.  Please do not delay!
