Bad leg pain and no explanation

In 2007 I badly broke my leg (my toes were touching my knee bad), I was in a cast for almost my entire seventh grade year and for the first four or so months I had to be in a wheelchair with the cast up to my thigh. I started to be able to move around really well after the first month and about two or so months before they put me in a boot i was able to jump around my house on one leg for very long distances and then eventually walk around on my cast. About two or so years ago, I started to have some pain in my leg. At first it wasn't that bad just a little throbbing which happened after I got out of the cast, so I didn't think too much about it. But last year it got a little worse, it felt like little needles were in my skin. But what got me really concerned was a few months ago, I got up from my chair and collapsed because my leg hurt so badly and I could barely walk. My mom thought it was growing pains, but it was only limited to my left leg (the one I broke). The doctor took many tests on the leg and couldn't find anything wrong with it. It had healed so nicely and so cleanly for a break as bad as it was according to my doctor. He also said that my leg was one of the nicest healed legs that he had seen because of all the calcium that was in my new bone (I don't drink soda so besides water and juice there wasn't much to drink. that and I craved milk the entire time my leg was broken and I healed 3 months before they thought i would).

He did some nerve tests and found that my entire leg was completely numb from the knee down. he put me on steroids think it was my nerves trying to re-connect still and that was the source of the pain. Unfortunately the steroids aren't helping at all. Does anyone have any idea what the heck is going on with my leg. Oh, and I've already been tested for arthritis because my mom has rheumatoid arthritis (a very bad case unfortunately), and it came back negative.

Leg and ankle specialist is a better word for it. He ordered a bone scan to see if it was something else that was affecting my leg.
My parent's don't know what's going on either.

What do your parents have to say?

"Leg and ankle doctor?"  What?

You should probably be seeing a Neurologist or Neurovascular Specialist.  However, I will leave that up to your parents since you are underage.

All the best.

I've seen a leg and ankle doctor and I had a MRI and another test that I forgot the name of. I had a shot of something and I sat on this table for an hour or so.

Sounds like a neurovascular problem.  What kind of doctor are you seeing now?  Neurologist?

Has this doctor ordered any imaging, i.e. MRI?
