Oh also, I have 2 other lumps on my left forearm. One right on the bottom middle of my forearm and one right on the top middle of my forearm.
Hey thanks for all the info. I'm 27 f from central WI. My lumps under my skin have actually gone down a little bit for the last couple days, so that's good... but the one on my right arm is still about the size of a large grape. I am experiencing a little bit of pain in my arms for time to time, like something is pushing into my muscles. A few days ago my left elbow actually was locked, I'm not sure if it was swollen or what, but I tried extending my arm out all the way and I couldn't until I forced it to and I heard my bone pop, but it didn't really hurt. Here's a pic of the one on my right arm, sorry if it isn't perfect, but you can see the coloring underneath it, there's also a red line that goes across it, not sure why... the one on my other arm doesn't do that, it's just some grayish blue color under my skin. Thanks for all your knowledge and help :). http://imgur.com/OT5ICQD
can you share a picture of those bumps on your arms preferrably in good light?
Usually if they come and go and hurt you may likely just have an infection of some sort. However, it is best to have a basic CBC run and a doc check you out. Bring your prior CBC's if you have them to compare. I saw in another post that you had a lump that didn't move. If you still have that lump and it doesn't move I would recommend that you get in soon.
Some personal questions you are free to answer and you are free not to just asking to get some better ideas.
How old are you
are you male/female
Do you have any breaks in the skin in the areas around those nodes? LIke do you have a lot of acne or cycstic acne? Lipomas move around but usually are not painful. Most people that have one lipoma are likely to get more. Swollen lymph nodes around the size of a pea aren't usually of concern especially if they shrink and grow and shrink or move around those are usually reactionary to either allergens or an infection. The nodes that are hard and fixed (don't move) can be cause for concern. If you want to PM me or write me at "tristan93 at me . c o m" I will be glad to see if I can find some resources in your area. You dont need to share with me your real name if you don't feel comfortable but I will need to know whether or not you are a male/female have kids or issues with transportation and your zip code. Sometimes local hospitals have programs available to non insured/under insured. At any rate if you feel comfortable reach me and I'll see what I can do to help get you the care you need to at least get your mind at ease :)
I know I have one about an hour away. I was going to call them on Monday. Do you think it could be something serious?
Do you have free or low cost clinics in your area?
