Breast cancer?

Hi, I found a lump about the size of a dime about 6 months ago in my armpit.  I can hardly feel it and can barely see it, but it is there.  It only hurts if I touch it and that just recently started.  My grandmother, her sister (my great-aunt), and their mother (my great-grandmother) all had breast cancer so that is the only reason why I am worried.  I am 36 yrs. old, overweight, and out of shape, but no other physical problems.  Could anyone tell me if there is a chance I could have breast cancer?  I think if I did I surely would have other symptoms by now, so I don't think I do but I am worried a little.  Thank you.

I can tell you that your risk is increased related the family history, but I can't tell you if you have breast cancer.  Have you seen a physician at all?  A physician needs to assess you, order proper testing and possibly biopsy the site.  Just because you are not having tons of symptoms does not mean cancer can't be a possibility.

I forgot to add that the lump has not changed in size in the past 6 months.  Thanks!
