Burning shoulder and back

My left shoulder has been hurting on and off for 2 weeks. Last week the pain comes in my right shoulder also and across my back between the shoulder blades. I suffer from ventricular bigeminy and when this happens my shoulder seems to hurt too. My doctor insists my heart is fine, I've had a lot of tests and all are normal apart from event monitor which showed up the ahrythmia.

As soon as I got up today the burning between my shoulders was there across my back. I went to a walk in centre and was examined. The nurse said both my shoulders are making grinding noises (left worst) which she said is age, she said that she thought the burning pain was not cardiac related, she did BP, pulse odometer test and an ECG which were all ok. Suggested i try ibuprofen and to try to relax. I am taking omeprazole just in case it's gastric but I don't really think that makes a difference.

The skin on my back feels a bit tight when I move my shoulders forward although I have full motion and plenty of power in my arms and my grip. I really can't help but worry this discomfort is cardiac relates somehow but I do have to accept what all the doctor seem to be saying.

So my question is, what is causing this discomfort? I didn't used to be like this.

Sounds like it is neck related.  Best of luck!

I'm going to see my doctor in 2 days, finally able to make an appointment.

I noticed tonight the burning in mynshouder and back is made worse if I move my head left and right and particularlynif I touch my chin onto my chest. It makes my back feelmreally tight and thenit starts tomfeel like it's burning.

Maybe my neck or spine? Will ask the doc

To rule out shoulder condition you may want to consult an orthopedic surgeon.
He/she specializes is bones, tendons, muscles and can provide a specific diagnosis if appropriate. Grinding being age related sounds off to me...I worked in Orthopedic surgery for 7 yrs. What I mean is, I would not accept that explanation from a nurse not in a specialist field.
