End of June 2017 - I hurt my left arm somehow, (swimming I think) the following day the pain ran down to my fingers. After a following two days with rest the pain went away.
July 2017 - I started getting chest pains and left arm pain - obviously concerning. Noticed it more having sugar/ fizzy drinks. This wasn't everyday.
Into July - I visited the doctor. He said I'd injured my arm, and listened to my Chest (I have asthama) and prescribed me Prednisolone for a chest infection. The doctor was convinced this was not heart related. I was reluctant to take the drug...and the same symptomns came and went.
August 2017 - I helped my parents with some heavy bags into the house, that evening I had a very sharp pain in my chest. This is when I took the Prednisolone. On this drug for 5 days, it seemed to majorly increase the pain and I had pain everyday in my chest and left arm.
Day 5 after my last lot of Prednisolone - went to the hospital because of the pain and they checked me for anything heart related and couldn't find anything obviously wrong.
September 2017 - 3/4 weeks off the drug and the pains are still constant everyday. I have been to my 3rd doctor who again doesn't believe it heart related, nor Prednisolone withdrawal. I am so fed up with pain. They are getting me in for an ECG, Xray and Bloods because of the amount of time I've had these symptomns.
In the last week I have majorly cut down caffeine and cut out all refined sugar, and am eating "clean" as it were. And I feel worse. I am also taking Osteocare (Magnesium, Calcium, Vitamin D) supplements.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
I am 31yrs old, Female, overweight (BMI 37), non smoker, have asthama, I try to do a fair amount of walking a day.
Walking relieves the symptomns slightly, and does not make them feel worse. Worse mostly at night and in the morning. Tiredness 100% makes it worse
