Could my meds keep my gut from going down???

Hello, I am a 48 year old male.  About 1.5 years ago I started doing cardio and weight trainig 5 days a week with a trainer and eating a clean diet and have lost 50lbs and have maintained it. BUT my stomach WILL NOT go down. My trainer thinks it could be some of my medications and/or its interactions with each other.  Here's a list of what I am currently still taking:  Clonidine, Glimepiride, Byetta, Metformin, Amlodipine, Crestor, and Losartan HCT. Is it possible that it could be these meds? Please help!!  I'm working by tail off and still have a GUT.  Thank you in advance.

You're right, they just don't give you much time in appointments anymore and the Dr's don't want to listen to what you're saying.

Thank you!

Next time you go in you need to tell them to change you to something else.  If they try to argue the matter you need to tell them that you have rights and you want a change.

It's not skin, my stomach is hard.  I go get checkups on a regular basis, my blood pressure is down and my sugar is down, but they won't take me off my meds.  Thank you for your comments.

Keep in mind I am not a doctor.  Medications all have side effects.  You need to talk to your doctor and see if he could somehow cut your long list of meds down to a narrower field.  also your trainer should also know that when you have what we call stomach flab, as you lose weight this skin takes longer to tighten because the weight of the  fat cells causes sag initially makeing it harder to lose weight in our mid sections.
