Can any body tell me immediatley what is rubella-immune i think i no but i just need some feedback quick.

your right i was vaccinated years ago , they were just letting me no that i still have enough in my body so that if i come into contact with someone that has the measles then me and my little angel are covered. Thanks for responding hopes to talk to you soon.

Hello and thanks for your comment, and your right i had this shot when i was younger and they were letting me no there's still enough of this in my body to cover me and the baby so thank you and i hope i can talk to you again soon.

you guys are absoulety right i had this perticular shot when i was younger and i have enough left in my body where's  tho it won't harm me or my little angel. S orry for my incorrect spelling im on my way to bed have a goodnight.

It means that you must have had it or been vaccinated for it.  Now you're immune to it.   Probably did not get this in the time you needed..

Yes I can answer your question. I am a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and we do lots of serology tests including rubella. If you are immune then you either had the German measles when you were young or you had a vaccine. In either case you are immune and your antibodies in your blood are high enough that you wouldn't get Rubella or if you had a child wouldn't pass on the disease.

I think it means you have had  measles as a child and are immune to having the disease again as you have built up your immunity to it.
