Extreme pain in arms

I am having sever pain all over, but my arms & hands are getting so bad I cn't straighten out my fingers or turn hands side to side, and both hands are swollen bad. This started a couple weeks ago--I woke up and my left arm wouldnt move.  now this pain association with body movement is getting scary.  Has anyone else had this happen to them?

This may be due to Rheumatoid Arthritis or GOUT and hence consult an Orthopedic physician.

You should definitely go see a doctor, perhaps a rheumatologist.

Hi,I'm savanna and i'm also exsperiencing pain every where and i to are having problems in my hands opening them is painful. Also in lefting my arm is painful. I can't hardly raise it. I do have Arthities, and Hashimoto's Disease, I have neck pain to and heard that it could be this to. I do hope you've found a doctor for your's. I went to a doctor yesterday and they want to do e-rays and shots in my back and neck next month.
