Skin Discoloration and Other problems

Hi, i've been getting weird patches that look like purple blue-ish black-ish bruises
on my arm and near my arm pit  also just under my rib cage in the middle of both of them.. it sometimes is  darker but fades a little but i can still see it there. i'm not over or underweight

also  for a couple of years now  my toes, wrists and palms  and sometimes my nails go dark blue-black-purple sometimes it doesnt matter if i'm standing or siting ,  it also happens in the shower.. it just happens  randomly.. but it always seems to fade away by its self.. after a few minutes, this is what scares me the most as i dont understand what causes it and its much darker looking then the patches of discolored skin i have. i tried talking to my doctor about it but she just shruged and said it might be a small circulation problem and nothing to worry about it (i'm 24 years old (but i've had this since late teens) and 5'9 she thinks its because of my height).. but she hasnt seen it with her own eyes yet(since it comes and goes).. the color is very alarming when it happens, and its definetly not normal, because no one in my family has ever had this problem or anyone i know.. the only thing i've been diagnosed as having is semi low platelets ..but not low enough  for them to give me anything for it.  and i dont take any medication for anything.

Nope you need blood tests ASAP .... could be an auto immune problem or something else...Find the right Doctor - even if it means going to 3 different ones.... Something is not right - best of luck

When you mentioned low platelets my memory was jogged. You should see an Oncologist.  About 10 years ago I was like this all over.  Very embarrassing.  I looked like my husband had beat me up.  I sought a specialist and after labs I was told I had low platelets.  I was 48 then.  I don't know why this happened but the bruising started to go away on it's on and my platelets increased on it's own.  I don't know how the Oncologist had planned on fixing this.  I know people can donate their blood and only give platelets if they choose to.  Maybe this would help you.  You can also go to a Hematologist.  I'm a Christian.  I know Jesus heals today just as he did when he walked the Earth in Bible days.  I believe in prayer and I've seen God answer my prayers.  I believe God healed me and that's why my platelets increased.  I believe in miracles.  I can only help you by talking to God about your need.  So, go to a specialist and do your part and let God do his part and see what happens,  God bless you!
