Update, I had my blood drawn this morning and had no problems. I think this was due to the following: The nurse had me lay down WHILE drawing the blood and I also drank 3 full glasses of water right before I left to the dr.'s office.
Thank you all, I don't think its the procedure itself, I never watch and there are times when everything is done and the bandaid on before I start feeling this way. I read somewhere that drinking alot of water beforehand can help....
When you are having the blood work done, have you been fasting? If so, it might just be a form of low blood sugar, that can happen at times in some folks. Other than that, it just might be a reaction to the procedure itself. Try not to watch at all during the procedure and if this is the reason, it may help your problems.
Your reaction is more comon than you might suspect.
When you get settled, close your eyes and keep them closed until the bloodwork is completed, the bandaid is on the vein, and the bottles of blood are put away.
