Help me!

Two months ago my mother's left leg hurt severly and was swollen. She was hospitalized and fluid drawn off by lasix. X rays & ultra sound showed no problem. Last week an MRI showed bleeding in the thigh muscle. Hospital for 2 days-arm from elbow down totally purple. Couminin level high (10). Taken off couminin. Now we wait until mid December to see an orthopedic.I am worried she may not make it. Is an orthopedic the doctor to see or a vascular doctor or who?Should another MRI(or other test) be performed to determine if the bleeding into the thigh has stopped. She has many health issues-heart failure, diabetes, kidney failure(stage 3).I am wondering about getting another opinion from a different doctor if one would see us. What should we do?
Thanks,
