Best thing to do is to keep a record of what is consumed and that means everything. What a meal consists of as well as all drinks.
Then to note and try and identify the culprit food.
Drinking a lot of fizzy drinks will cause bloating, some people get bloating from bread, and so on.
It is only by identifying what is causing the bloating that you can then avoid it.
I have the same problem.. my doctors just fob me off lol
The next things to add would be a prebiotic (a prebiotic helps your body get a proper bacteria balance, while a probiotic adds beneficial bacteria, but they do not colonize so you have to keep taking them. Either one could help you. Additionally, try taking magnesium citrate every morning along with vitamin D 2000 mg. Most people are deficient in these. Then one other thing that would benefit your digestion would be L-glutamine. You are supposed to take this as a powder mixed in something like almond milk. If you normally consume dairy, try stopping at least milk and substitute almond milk or flax milk or something.
If these things don't work, the very expensive Rx I take is called Amitiza. It seems to target a particular gas pocket for me that seems to be holding up "traffic."
The bloating may be due to too much fibre or from too much simple carbohyrdrates like bread.
Your body may even be allergic to the gluten in bread and othe products.
Keep a record of what you re eating to see if you can identify the culprit food. Fizzy drinks can also cause bloating.
You can also try drinking the yogurts that contain the good bacteria and get some capsules that contain the Lactobacillus acidophilus (and the rest) to get the good bacteria into your guts.
You are doing right to drink water. 2-3 litres is recommended, more if you sweat, the weather is hot, or you work out at the gym.
Doing exercise or simply going for a walk will also help to move your bowels. If it is difficult and painful for the faeces to come out, you can get glycerine or proctosedyl suppositories to ease the evacuation.
Best wishes.
