Any Pain? Any association with your cycle? Crohns/or other bowel diseases run in the family? Any Cancer?
Hemorrhoids are most likely to leave blood on the paper. Your describing something else. Just go to the doctor already, someone needs to take a look and do a rectal exam, and probably run a few tests.
Haemorrhoids can bleed quite a bit when irritated so it's certainly possible for it to be this. If its concerning you it can be worthwhile visiting your doctor to have it checked and be given the correct diagnosis. Even though its usually something quite minor any bleeding from the rectum/anus should be seen to. Bleeding into the toilet from haemorrhoids often looks much more profuse than what it really is but it's still not something you would want or need to live with any longer than you have to.
Is there a lot of pain related to going to the toilet? It's also possible to have an anal fissure which is a split in the lining of the anus. This is irritated and opened up again when going to the toilet and can be extremely painful.
Both of the above conditions are the more prevalent conditions people encounter and both can be treated.
It is likely that you have internal haemorrhoids.
But I would advise that you see your doctor to get checked out. You can get pessaries and ointments, that you doctor will prescribe for internal haemorrhoids. They may need to be medically treated.
It may not be haemorrhoids causing your problem, so it is a good idea to make an appointment and get checked out.
Best wishes.
