Thank you for your comments. I saw my doctor today. My blood pressure and pulse were elevated today. She did a physical exam of the areas where my pain is and did an EKG while I was having pain. It was normal. I had labs to check heart and to rule out a blood clot. Last, I had a chest x-ray, which a phone call reported was clear. I brought home an Rx for esophagitis to replace the Gaviscon I've been taking. Plus, she told me to take an extra dose of Nexium or 1 Prilosec each AM.
I agree with the last post. Normally, reflux pain and gas pain are more localized pain. I would see your doctor.
