Left underarm/left breast pain, what could this be?

I'm a 22 year old male. Since Monday evening, I've been having this stinging pain under my left arm, it will sometimes be on my left top breast too. It all started when I was drinking a cold glass of water with ice, and I chugged it all down, not all at once, but within 2-3 minutes. After that I had a stinging pain in and under my arm, and then eventually to my top breast. Sometimes it's mild, and sometimes it's moderate, but because of my anxiety (I have panic disorder) I'm not sure whether it's real or psychological. With it being close to my heart, I have all kinds of scary thoughts thinking i'm going to die. This is the case with any pain though, I always think the worst of everything, and when I type my symptoms in Google all kinds of terrible conditions come up. I do this all the time with any pain I have, it's a bad habit. It's not a constant pain, and only seems to hurt when I masturbate or move the wrong way. Could it be Gerd (I do have that)? Could it be a pulled muscle? Could it be trapped gas? Anxiety maybe? This is freaking me out so bad. I don't know what to do because I don't have an appointment with my doctor until the 20th of January. I have no chest pain or anything like that, just a bad stinging pain. I should mention that I've had a bad cough for weeks and just recently got rid of it and this happened soon after. I do sit a lot on my bed, my computer is right in front of me, and I barely exercise at all, except for squats and moving my arms around.

Doesn't sound like a cardiac problem; sounds like a shoulder-type problem w/maybe a torn ligament.

Are you sure? This pain only gets worse when I worry, or sleep on that side. But when my anxiety is up, my heart starts beating fast and the pain is dull to moderate. Sometimes it feels like I'm going to have a panic attack from it. It feels like it's in the whole arm though, the whole thing is sore. And like I said it's under my arm and under and on top of my left breast too. I've been moving my arms a lot to see if it would get rid of the pain, but it just keeps throbbing every once in a while. Sure hope it isn't breast cancer or a heart problem. January 20th is a long time away. To be honest though, I am a complete hypochondriac, and every little pain I get makes me think I have something wrong with me. This leads to my parents not believing me and they think it's nothing serious and sometimes they get mad at me. I tell them to bring me to the ER just in case but they won't listen. If it was a heart problem though, I probably wouldn't have been able to do all the exercise I've been doing the last 4 days trying to get rid of the pain. I've tried drinking some Coconut Oil and a vitamin drink to see if things would help, but nothing. Maybe it is an arm problem, or maybe it's just my anxiety causing something that isn't really there, I mean, is that possible?

It might be pleuritis.  Does it happen when you take a breath?  My doctor explained that after a lung infection or any infection you can get pleuritis (pleurisy).  I once had it at the same time as bronchitis.  It is painful but goes away on its own.  I used to have anxiety.  It turned out it was from digestive problems.  My digestive problems are not caused by anxiety - but the discomfort of pressure caused anxiety.  No doctor explained that - I had to find it out on my own.  When the pressure was relieved, the anxiety went away.  As it turned out I also had Celiac disease.  Celiac disease causes vitamin and mineral deficiencies.  Almost everybody is difficient in magnesium and vitamin D.  If you increase your magnesium levels, your anxiety may go away completely.  Doctors won't tell you that, but that's what mag does.  A food that has the most mag is liver.  Otherwise I'd suggest you try taking magnesium citrate (start slowly at 250 mg and then go up to 500.  If that's okay, try 750 mg).  It speeds up digestion, which may or may not help you.  There are other forms of magnesium that don't have that side effect, but it works well for me.  Another way to get mag is to soak in a tub with Epsom salts.  See how that makes you feel.  Again, the mag and vitamin D3 are for the anxiety rather than the chest discomfort directly.

No. I don't have anything like that. It's in the muscles of my arm and breast. I really think I may have sat or moved the wrong way and pulled a muscle. Or I could be deficient from something. I really don't know. I seriously doubt it's my heart because when I move a certain position it gets relief. But when it does throb and hurt it makes me panic and my heart beats fast.
