High pulse

My husband is 48 years old and all day has been experiencing a high pulse between 124-130 (that is what the machines are saying) he also got nausea today and vomited twice. What could be going on, should he go to the E.R?

I would certainly go to the ER and have him checked, it could be the start of the flu bug, but, it is always best to on the safe side.
