Hello, we haven't heard from you in a while and wonder how you are doing. I hope you are doing better. Sometimes a little Epsom Salts in a glass of warm water will move things along and clean you out completely. Then you can start over eating more healthful foods and plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Are you okay? Please let us know as we truly care.
Wishing you the best, Silverfox
I find drinking orange juice with bits in (not from concentrate) good too.
Citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruit are great if you can eat these. If you take any medications just read the instructions as some say not to eat grapefruit.
It is a good idea for a check up with the doctor, to make sure that there are no underlying serious issued. Don't suffer with it, caught early these things can be treated successfully.
Best wishes.
Magnesium Oxide would be a good supplement to take for regularity. It also is good for health , relaxation and deep sleep.
Hope this helps you..
I'm sorry you feel bad. It is very important that you solve this problem, working with your doctor. Pregnant women tend to get hemorrhoids anyway from the pressure of the baby, so the last thing you want is extra pressure! I would love to advise you, but because you are pregnant, every single thing you take needs to be approved by your obstetrician.
How long have you been constipated? You can die from blockage! Please see a doctor if the laxatives and Jemma116's suggestions don't work.
My Mom had to have an intestinal resection as she was throwing up poop!! It has to come out someway. The hospital will pump out your stomach and give you an enema if you can't go.
Make sure that you eat a healthy diet, with no surgary products, pastries, cakes, and no junk food and fizzy drinks, no chocolate.
Incorporate plenty of fruit and veg that have high fibre like applies with skins on, cabbage, as well as oats for breakfast, wholemeal bread instead of white, and other high fibre breakfast cereals. Sweet corn and prunes are pretty good - not together, unless you fancy it! All salads are good and olives.
Drink plenty of water, 2-3 litres of water per day more if you sweat or workout. Do some form of exercise or go for walks. Exercise and walking help to stimulate the bowels to move.
Your bloated stomach may be from something that you are eating or drinking.
Keep a diary and write down everything that you eat and drink to see if you can find what is causing the bloating. It may be gluten in bread, drinking fizzy drinks.
Also see your doctor. Your doctor can prescribe a husk drink that will help to regulate you rather than your bowels getting "lazy" from laxatives. They are OK for temporary use.
It is a good idea to see the doctor to make sure that you do not have a blockage or other bowel problem.
Best wishes.
