Sprained ankle; pain moved to other side of ankle

I sprained my right ankle last Wednesday, it rolled inward, heard a loud noise (like someone cracking their neck). I couldn't put any weight on it, iced it and everything. So I had a lot of bruising and swelling on the outside of my right foot, then on Sunday I noticed in the area above my toes there was a dark spot like a bruise, and there was also some smaller bruises that are red on my shins (even though only my ankle was involved), both of those weren't there before.

Now since Sunday or Monday the pain has moved from the outside of my ankle (where I rolled it) to the inside of my right foot. I don't understand why it would be hurting on that side all of the sudden and not be hurting at all on the side that I sprained it. Not really sure what to make of it since this is the first time it's happened, just don't know why the pain would move to the other side. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
