yes on the bad sugars and yeast, dairy too. I have been trying to cut out dairy, but its not easy considering its my favorite, but that said i notice when i eat cheese I can barely swallow, the mucus is so thick. bad sugars I have been trying to stay away from all sweets. Considering I have cdifficile, sweets are a no no. Thank you so much for the info, What Sinus support are you taking?
I am deff not a medical expert but I have suffered from a lot of mucus in the past. I have had a post-nasal drip since I was about 10 years old. Diet is a very important thing to look at. Do you consume a lot of dairy, bad sugars, or yeast? All of those things, especially dairy can really wreak havoc on your digestive and immune system. I recently started doing a cleanse and taking all natural vitamins such as a sinus support. You may notice a difference. at least it's a start.
Thanks so much, I will try apple cider vinegar. Already taking Vitamin D, but i will increase the amount.
Vitamin D supplements can help with getting rid of excess phlegm. Try 2000IU daily. Low stomach acid (Hypochlorhydria) increases the risk of Clostridium difficile bacteria. Good amounts of stomach acid is needed to absorb nutrients and kill off bacteria, fungi and parasites. Low stomach acid also lists bad breath as a symptom. Betaine HCI with pepsin supplements increase stomach acid. Apple cider vinegar is the home remedy to help increase stomach acid.
