Some women do not bleed heavy after they had sex for the first time. In fact I onle had a few drops and nothing to talk about. However a friend of mine had this problem and her doctor told her that the barrier was not completely torn. In her case, she had to surgically open up the area. However you may not have the same problem. After a few times it may stop hurting, if not, go see your doctor.

As was said, Some women do not bleed very heavily and then again, some do.
I bled the first time and every time after until about the 7th or 8th time. As Amli said, your Vaginal barrier may not be all the torn in that case you may need to see your doctor if the pain persists.
Like many things, it's different for most people - I did a little bit of reasearching (a few minutes or so) and this may sound completely obscene - but trying foreplay before may lessen your pain.

Hopefully you figure it out!
