:-( I think it's anxiety attacks ( I hope nothing worse) I'm 34 and have been stressed a lot past year and half especially last few months... But the chest discomfort is always there and most of the attacks are at night.. All night.. I'm trying not to take the Lorazepam that was given to me at the ER cause the nurse told me it's addictive. Waiting for my insurance to kick in so I can go get more tests done. Something puzzling me for months is the constant buzzing In my ears with head pressure. I saw a doctor about 6 months ago and checked my hearing and told me I'm fine. I will get a CT scan or what ever test to help determine what in the world is happening to me.
if you have had lots of checks and its not a problem with your heart it sounds like anxiety or panic attacks. psychological problems usually caused by a chemical imbalance are just as bad as physical but most people don't want it to be that as physical problems are easier to treat. if you were given antidepressants they will take time to get into your system. good luck
What you should do, is go to a regular doctor, explain your situation, and then if possible without getting medications first, get a second opinion. It is possible that this is anxiety, however, it's better to be safe than sorry. ER's are designed to take care of at the time emergencies so when they checked you out, they were looking for emergency problems. You need to see a regular doctor.
I think it's anxiety and even maybe panic disorder, but it don't matter what I think, I am not a doctor, and that is who you need to see.
