Phantom Smells

I have been experiencing Phantom Smells for several years now that are fairly hard to describe. If I had to describe it I would say the most common one I smell is urine. Like a baby waking up from a nap and soiled their diaper, hot urine smell. Other times it smells like walking into a nursing home type smell. Just really unpleasant smells that last from days to weeks. It is associated with headaches sometimes that last for several days. I also experience headaches without the smell present. I thought it was eyesight related but recently I have been waking up with a migraine. I would turn over in my sleep and I can feel the pressure of a headache present and upon awaking in the morning it stays with me throughout the day. I have no sinus issues from an oncoming illness and these symptoms happen every 2-3 months or so. I have not seen a doctor because I just don't know how to bring this up and don't want to sound like a crazy person. Anyone else experiencing this or any ideas what this could be?

Hello~I would see your doctor, sometimes people with a certain type of epilepsy have this.

It has happened to me before. But usually I forget about it or it leaves after a couple hours. Maybe you should ask your doctor.
