Hello~I would see a foot doctor now. If it is still hurting, it needs to be removed and then the medication should be administered.

See a podiatrist as soon as the infection clears. I had problems for years. My left big toe was the biggest issue. At age 17 I had that big toenail removed. I have not regretted it.
